Recently, member Christina G. posted a recipe for Cumin-Pepper Flank Steak with Horseradish Chimichurri to the community recipes.
Earlier in the week I made Pork Soft Tacos for the boys, which tastes prominently of cumin, so I opted to leave it out of my testing of the Cumin-Pepper Flank Steak with Horseradish Chimichurri. I don’t think it mattered. The actual chimichurri sauce was so good that I didn’t need anything else. It’s an intense flavor, you have to like parsley. The adventurous child did not care for it at all, but the picky eater thought that a small amount enhanced the steak. I spread it on my bread.
The steak was served with roasted garlic and cauliflower, cherry tomato saute, and bread with olive oil. But, to be perfectly honest, I put all the ingredients for the cauliflower and tomatoes in the same pan and roasted them together. It was tasty!
