Marianne Blaesing, Executive Editor
At the tender age of 12, Marianne put a frozen pork roast in the oven, cooked it to a golden brown, and did not understand why it was still frozen in the middle; it’s been uphill ever since. Marianne uses her more than 3 decades of cooking
experience and study to provide insightful commentary and suggestions on all things
revolving around home meal planning.
Marianne has studied at Madonna Univesity
and Eastern Michigan University, and has been a humor writer whose eponymous column appeared in Ann Arbor Family Press for 3 years. She was also their restaurant reviewer in search of family friendly restaurants, which furthered her belief that the best
meals are those prepared in the home.
Other contributors to More Thyme include chefs, nutritionists, naturopaths, and
a great team of website developers.
